About Robertson Media
Photojournalism is a highly specialised amalgamation of photography and storytelling. The power of a still image that relays a message is sought by newspaper, magazine and website editors the world over.
James Robertson has over twenty years’ experience in photojournalism.
His record of nine front page pictures in one year at a major metropolitan newspaper was difficult to achieve in the current world climate of international news and current affairs.
James has excelled at all facets of digital photojournalism, such as news, travel, features, fashion, entertainment, sports, business, finance, picture stories and stealth paparazzi assignments.
Digital camera equipment is none other than the now-legendary Canon EOS 1D mark2, equipped with Canon L-series professional lenses.Computer equipment is a Windows Vista 64-bit professional laptop with wireless broadband for transmitting images from almost anywhere. The photo-editing program of choice is of course Adobe Photoshop.
The end result is colour glossy-magazine cover images of 300dpi at A4.
If not on assignment, James enjoys a challenge such as mountaineering in the Mt Barney National Park, kayaking and competition target archery.
Now freelance, James is available for your special photo assignment. Click here to contact James Robertson
